How is everyone doing today? I doing all right. My grandparents are coming up either today or tomorrow (I'm not really sure. My step-dad said today and my mom said tomorrow, so I'm all confused right now). So I'll be spending all my time either filling out job applications or cleaning today. Bo-oring. I honestly hate it when we have guest coming over, but we haven't seen my grandparents since last year, so hopefully it won't be all that bad. I just wonder what's going to happen when they bring their dog Molly. Two dogs is fine, but I really don't want to have to watch three dogs this week. Hopefully I won't die. LOL.

If you're as bananas about this new movie coming out, then you've definitely checked out the XF2 promotional banners at Cannes on www.xfilesnews.com .

I have to say, when I saw the slogan on the big banner ("To find the truth, you must believe") I couldn't help but think back to an article on the new movie in the summer preview edition of Entertainment Weekly:

" And Carter — a former skeptic who's got more ''faith that it's not all meaningless'' these days — cites influences like string theory and the work of religious scholar Huston Smith, saying a phrase from one of Smith's lectures actually ''became'' the movie.(fans start Googling)"

So I did, and I came up with this:

“In order to live man must believe in that for which he lives.”- huston smith

To quote our fav Fox Mulder, "I think we've found our smoking gun." But I also have my reservations.

I am having such a fat bitch moment. I just got home from Marks & Spencer's with two boxes of chocolates, two boxes of Jaffa Cakes and two slices of Belgian chocolate cheesecake. They will all be gone before the middle of next week no doubt!

This is what I get for going to the shops when I've barely eaten all day. :P

Tonight I'm going to finish Stalking Darkness. I've only got about a hundred pages left to go on it and it's getting so exciting! ( Possible spoilers and much love for my boyfriend Seregil. )

I've hardly read any all week because I had a three day headache which I only seemed to notice when I was reading. Must have strained my eyes or something. Anyway, I feel better now so I'm going to finish it tonight and then tomorrow read another Doctor Who book and then Dancing With Eva and maybe The Light Fantastic before I start on Traitors Moon next week!
